Pearl: 100% authentic top quality A grade (Please refer to the below A-D pearl grading system for details) Tahitian black pearl
Pearl measurement: approx. 10-11mm in diameter, 12-13mm in length
Luster: excellent
Color: all natural black with green and silver overtone (not dyed or treated, color may vary from pearl to pearl)
Shape: tear drop
Nacre: greater than 0.8mm required by Tahiti law
Metal: 14K solid yellow gold at 0.45 gram
Pendant measurement: 21mm (0.83") in length including the bail
Bail opening: 3.75mm X 3.5mm

The A-D Pearl Grading System (The Tahitian & South Sea Pearl System)

A: Highest-quality pearl, very high luster and only minor imperfections over less than 10% of its surface.
B: High or medium luster. Surface may have some visible imperfections over no more than 30% of its surface area.
C: Medium luster with surface defects over not more than 60% of the surface area.
D: May have many slight defects over 60% of surface or deep defects over no more than 60% of surface.

Note 1: Some sellers use AAA, AA, A grading system which is used more commonly on fresh water and Akoya pearls. It is not a typical grading system for Tahitian and South Sea pearls.
