One loose strand of very good quality 100% authentic round Tahitian silver / gray pearls

Pearls: one loose strand of 100% authentic AB grade (please refer to the below A-D pearl grading guide for details) round Tahitian silver / gray pearls
Pearl measurement: approx. 14.5mm in diameter the center of the strand, 12.0mm in diameter on the ends
Pearl shape: round to slight off round shape
Surface: minor surface dings and small natural imperfections
Pearl color: all natural silver / gray with slight green overtone (not dyed or treated).
Luster: high
Nacre: greater than 0.8mm required by Tahiti law
Strand length: 17"

The A-D Pearl Grading System (The Tahitian Pearl System)

A: Highest-quality pearl, very high luster and only minor imperfections over less than 10% of its surface.
B: High or medium luster. Surface may have some visible imperfections over no more than 30% of its surface area.
C: Medium luster with surface defects over not more than 60% of the surface area.
D: May have many slight defects over 60% of surface or deep defects over no more than 60% of surface.

Note: Some sellers use AAA, AA, A grading system which is used more commonly on fresh water and Akoya pearls. It is not a typical grading system for Tahitian and South Sea pearls.
